Current Feature
| June 2009 Out in California, summer seems a little shy. Thunderstorms one day, sun the next, and then rain. The indecisiveness of the weather is driving some people into insanity. That's not to say that some of the drivers are not already a little crazy. To avoid going batty I stick to a strict habit of dA when I get home from work at 3:30 in the morning. I'd been hoping for something to strike me as a feature for June, and then it came to me. Summer. I'd been missing it. And I found it in Outdoors by ~Ssputnikk.  I can't explain my love for this photo. There is just something about it that makes me happy. It might be the fact that I must look something like the juxtaposition in the photo these days. I go around wearing jeans and a light jacket, even if it gets to be a little "warmer". There may not be much in her gallery, but I have the feeling she'll be great. Besides, I'm a sucker for the still life captured in something small. Check out Tiina's work, you'll enjoy it. |
